Click on the Easel.ly link, and create an info-graphic to explore in more detail one of the following:

      1. Plant cell

      2. Animal cell

Your info-graphic should include a title, organelles found in the cell you chose (THERE SHOULD BE MORE THAN 7 ORGANELLES FOR EACH CELL. POINTS WILL BE DEDUCTED FOR MISSING ORGANELLES), an image of the cell you chose with the organelles present, and any special facts about your cell. Be sure to include

7-10 facts. There are many different templates to choose from. Have fun with it but make sure your project is informative! This can later be used as a great study tool!

*** ALSO, some of the organelles in your cell may differ from organelles in the other or may include extra depending on which cell you chose. PLEASE identify those and indicate that they are unique to that cell!!!!!

In project one, you should have chosen either a plant cell or an animal cell. For project 2, you will now use the second option from above. so which ever one you didn't use for project 1, you will use for project 2. Use Thinglink to create a digital poster for your cell. The chosen cell needs to be labeled correctly. You must include an image of your cell WITH organelles present. You will label ALL organelles correctly. Include descriptions for at least 3 organelles, and a video that talks about the function of an organelle for  two organelles In your chosen cell. Remember, have fun and be creative! this can be another awesome study tool that can be used to study for a test!!!!

**** ALSO, be aware if you are doing the plant cell there are some organelles that are unique to this type of cell... MAKE SURE THIS IS POINTED OUT in some way (example: different colored font can be used)
Cells are made up of many organelles as you have seen from your research for the cells above. I want you to pick an organelle that can be found in either a plant or animal cell. you may also chose organelles that may just be exclusive to only one cell. Pick one that you like or that you find cool! Using Voice Thread, I want you to find four facts about your organelle, and tell me why you like it so much. Try to be descriptive when you tell me why you like this organelle and why/how you chose it.

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the wonderful world of cells! I bet you can't guess how many cells make up your entire body can you? Lets just say the answer is a lot! In this unit students will study Eukaryotic cells. Eukaryotic cells consist of PLANT and ANIMAL cells. Students, in order to have a better understanding of the eukaryotic cell structure and organelle function for both types will complete the following projects. Similarities and differences between plant and animal cells and organelle functions will be made clear to the student for further exploration. Cells may be small but boy are they neat!

Please take your time on these projects and be creative! The rubric for the assignment is attached bellow.

**** These assignments will be VERY HELPFUL for studying when its time to take a test!****

LETS GET YOU THINKING!

Before beginning the project, start by taking the PLANT AND ANIMAL CELLS quiz on Kahoot. This will allow for you to see what you know before you get to work! Submit the Link for the quiz at the end of its completion. I will know if you completed the assignment or not!

***ANYONE WHO USES THE IMAGE USED IN THE SAMPLE WILL NOT RECEIVE A GRADE... THE IMAGE IS NOT ACCURATE AND WAS JUST USED AS AN EXAMPLE***
