Gene Flow
Gene flow occurs when there is migration.
There are two ways this phenomenon takes place.
1. Immigration: Migration of people coming from one place to
another which was not
the original homeland
2. Emigration: Migration of people leaving
from one region
The loss or addition of people can easily change gene pool frequencies even if there are no other revolutionary mechanisms operating
